The Apurva Chef Students Graduation

Bali Culinary Pastry School in cooperation with The Apurva Kempinski Bali held the first graduation ceremony of The Apurva Chef students on 9 February 2021. The General Manager of The Apurva Kempinski Bali, Mr. Vincent Guironnet, Director of Training & Quality Management, Mr. Harrison Tompodung, Director of Culinary, Chef Eric Cocollos, the Founder of Bali Culinary Pastry School, M. Ariani Siswanto, BSc., MSc.(IM), MSc.(REI) and the Director of Bali Culinary Pastry School, I Wayan Wicaya witness the event and extending all medals and certificates in the graduation ceremony.

The Apurva Chef program launched its first batch on July 2019 and second batch on October 2019. There were 12 students who were graduating from The Apurva Chef program who completed 6 months in school and 6 months internship at The Apurva Kempinski Bali. In this graduation ceremony, Bali Culinary Pastry School also gave award to the Best Student Award to Sean Tamboto from the first batch and Evina Alvetio from the second batch. Evina Alvetio also got award from The Apurva Kempinski Bali as the Best Intern.

The Apurva Chef program provided a unique learning opportunity for anyone who wants develop their skills. “This collaboration has brought a lot of benefits to the students. Not only learned about cooking theoretically and practically, but students had opportunity to be trained and mentored by the professional chef at The Apurva Kempinski Bali. It was such a great experience for me!”, said Sean Tamboto.

Evina Alvetio, as the Best Intern said, “Since I was in high school, I love everything about Culinary. I took the The Apurva Chef program and learned from basic to professional. It was a privilege to me to be taught by the experienced chef and helped me a lot to maximize my career potential in culinary industry. It beyond my expectation to get the award as the Best Student and Best Intern through this program!

Proud to see their perseverance and hard work to this day. Congratulation all the graduating students, not only because of their hard work, but also their dedication and commitment to achieve this milestone. May their journey in Bali Culinary Pastry School will bring beneficial to the industry and they will use their talents to build a bright future in the industry of culinary and pastry bakery.
