Started his culinary journey from very young age, Joe found his passion by loving the adrenaline rush at the kitchen. When he was on the sixth grade of elementary school, he became a Daily Worker for a banquet event. From that moment, his love and passion for cooking grew as the time goes by. He knew that one day he will go to culinary school to hone his cooking
skill.


He decided to join Bali Culinary Pastry School in The Apurva Chef Program as he was very keen to know about The Apurva Kempinski Bali which has a lot of outlets. He also wants to dive straight into industry, especially hotels. With passion and determination, that decision ended up making him the best student on his internship journey at The Apurva Kempinski Bali. His perseverance and hard work finally paid off.

Things That Always Keeps Him Going


His culinary journey continues on the bigger scope. After finishing his internship, Joe got the chance to work as a Daily Worker at Reef Beach Club, The Apurva Kempinski Bali. From his experience at The Apurva Kempinski Bali, Joe got another opportunity as an Apprentice at Il Ristorante Luca Fantin, Bvlgari Resort Bali.


Even though working in the kitchen is not easy, he always puts value and take ownership of his passionate work. He also believes that having the right mindset to take responsibility is also the thing that keeps his culinary journey going strong until now. He shares that Bali Culinary Pastry School has changed his life for the better. Beyond the technical aspects of cooking, Bali Culinary Pastry School emphasizes the importance of
character development. The curriculum incorporates projects and activities that cultivate discipline, teamwork, and a dedication to excellence. This school has helped transforming him not just to be a skilled chef, but also as a well-rounded person.
