SMART class by FILMA is a routine program held by PT.SMART, Tbk on several occasions, one of them is cooperation with Bali Culinary Pastry School. On August 30, 2017, PT.SMART, Tbk had the opportunity to hold a knowledge-sharing class on how to make puff pastry.

The class was introducing a new product Filma Prestige, which is a mixture of Filma margarine and butter. It has scent and texture advantage like butter at an economical price. In addition,  Filma puff pastry has pastry fat for dough laminate, it is easier to apply in pastry making than using butter sheets. The result also will be more fluffy and crispy.

Together with the launching of the new product, SMART class by FILMA was giving a demo directly in front of Bali Culinary Pastry School students.  The Filma chef showed  how to use and process puff pastry correctly.

The process of adding butter sheets and the number of folds incorporation with the basic dough is adjusted to the type of food such as chicken turnover, stuffed puff pastry with minced meat.

With this kind of classes, Bali Culinary Pastry students should have the advantage to directly ask questions regarding the products available in the market therefore can understand why brand products play important roles in the final production by knowing exactly the character of the product itself and its capability.
