Bali Culinary Pastry School celebrated the graduation of 16 students from commis and demi chef programs on 17 August 2017.  They joined the program Commis and Demi Chef since January 2016. Out of a total of 42 students who have signed up, only less than half who successfully graduated with a minimum grade C and successfully completed the internship program at 4 – 5 star international standard hotel, or Bali’s reputable boutique restaurant.

The graduation ceremony procession was attended by parents and families.  Proudly parents and families watched their sons and daughters called on stage and received the graduation medal and chef’s hat. This graduation ceremony was also attended by guests from the hospitlity industry whom have been supporting Bali Culinary Pastry School educational activities.

Furthermore, Bali Culinary Pastry School also commemorated the 72nd Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia. The event took place with elegance, there was a speech from the the Director of Bali Culinary Pastry School, Dr. Ejasa Sembiring, M.Si. and the founder of Bali Culinary Pastry School, M.Ariani Siswanto, B.Sc., M.Sc. (IM), M.Sc. (REI). Followed by the annoucement of the “best graduate” given based on several criteria, namely professionalism, attitude, ability development, responsibility, and teamwork. Best Student Award was given to Saphira Evani.

Euphoria of happiness and excitement over the graduation ceremony is apparent from the graduates and parents. The students are expected to be an inspiration to the community, especially in the highly developed culinary industry today. Some graduates have gained a good position working as young chefs in their place of internship. Others went to continuing chef program abroad and another decided to start working abroad.

On the same occasion, a series of events in the form of races and bazaars supported by Bali Culinary Pastry School new students who have contributed to enlighten the event. All participants who follow the race were very enthusiastic and bonded to win prizes that were prepared by the committee team. Several testimonials from the invited guests were hoping that this graduation procession could be an annual event held by Bali Culinary Pastry School, and best wishes  for futute graduates would maintain their qualities.
