SAMBUNG RASA : An Exclusive Charity Dinner Collaboration

Presented by Bali Culinary Pastry School Alumni at Rasanusa Restaurant

Maintaining strong relationships between the Bali Culinary Pastry School (BCPS) and our alumni is at the core of our mission. Through ongoing collaboration events, we ensure that these connections remain vibrant, meaningful, and mutually beneficial. One such event is the exclusive dinner collaboration, ‘Sambung Rasa,’ which exemplifies our commitment to alumni engagement and social responsibility. This special event, presented by our alumni, is not just a culinary showcase but also a charity initiative.

The two-day event took place at Rasanusa Restaurant in Batu, Malang, a modern Indonesian restaurant owned by BCPS alumni Jacklin Marselau. This exclusive dinner collaboration, which featured modernized Indonesian cuisine, was a true celebration of cultural fusion. The menu was carefully curated to represent the flavors of Bali while showcasing Rasanusa’s signature dishes from Malang. Each dish highlighted the perfect balance between tradition and innovation, giving guests a taste of the creativity and mastery behind the collaboration.

The purpose of Sambung Rasa was to give back to the community, aligning with its name, which means “continuous relationship.” This event not only represented the strong bond between Bali Culinary Pastry School (BCPS) and its alumni but also symbolized the collaboration of Balinese cuisine with the signature dishes of Malang. Through this event, we successfully brought together alumni and community members who wanted to make a meaningful impact. All proceeds from the dinner went to local charitable initiatives, making the event a true reflection of the power of collaboration for a greater good.

BCPS has always been committed to nurturing individuals who are not just skilled in their craft but are also dedicated to making a difference. Sambung Rasa embodied this mission by providing our alumni with a platform to reconnect with the school and contribute to the community. The event proved that our support for our alumni does not end with graduation but continues through initiatives like this, where they can apply their knowledge and passion to create positive change.
